What happens? You are tired. Maybe even anemic. When you are tired you want to sleep and have no energy. People who are tired and have no energy do not exercise. Therefore, your body is not burning as many calories. Consequently, it is entirely possible that a result of having a low level of Vitamin B-12 is to gain weight.
Perhaps it is not the actual Vitamin B-12 nutrient in and of itself that helps you lose weight. Perhaps it is the result of a high Vitamin B12 level that results in energy, that results in more activity, that results in burning more calories, that results in weight loss. But then that’s just me looking at this logically. Perhaps eating more poultry, meat, fish, dairy products is a better alternative.
