43 Stunning Fitness Girls to Follow on Instagram to Be Motivated

If you want to get motivated; so you can work out and stop eating awful high-calorie foods, you are in the right place. In our list of Stunning Fitness Girls to Follow on Instagram to Be Motivated; we have models, fitness athletes, weightlifters and fitness influencers on Instagram.

There is a psychological benefit to looking at posts of these fitness girls. You spend a lot of time on Instagram, right? When you are scrolling through your feed, you’ll see one of their motivational posts. Maybe just at that moment, you were about to eat really unhealthy food or just procrastinating instead of being active. Seeing how “perfect” they are will start to change your behaviour.

Let’s put a disclaimer before we get to our list; we hate making people bad! Keep in mind that it is these fitness girls’ job to look this “perfect”, in fact, recently fitness influencers started to show how imperfect they are by putting posts out on about lighting, photoshop and those kinds of factors can change an Instagram post a lot. That doesn’t mean the majority of the fitness influencers are not fit and only “faking it”.  Instagram is a place that can severely impair your self-image if you are not careful. Don’t look at these photos and think you’ll be never like them; you don’t have to compare yourself to a professional “brand”. Instead of that, try to be the best version of you and, if following any of these fitness girls hurt your mental health, just don’t follow them.

We are glad that we put that disclaimer, we don’t want this website to be a negative place. Instead of that, let’s check out these fitness girls to empower ourselves!

1) Kayla Itsines

Kayla is making a killing with his own Bikini Body Guide (BBG) program and her Sweat App. She posts mostly transformation photos that will motivate you to the core! Besides that, there are lots of training videos and healthy recipes on her IG page.

MYTH BUSTING: Zero equipment workouts are not as effective as workouts that use gym equipment.⁣ Hahah ladies, ask ANYONE who has done a #BBGZeroEquipment workout, and they will tell you that this statement is 100% A MYTH. ⁣ ⁣ I have been doing my new program for a while now, and I am feeling SO strong. 💪 Although you need zero equipment, you still work seriously hard during your workout. I have designed this program specifically to help you become stronger, fitter and more confident through your workouts.⁣ ⁣ Here are some of the ways I have made sure BBG Zero Equipment is easy to do, but not easy on you:⁣ ✅ The workouts are high intensity. I have incorporated cardio exercises to get your heart rate up and improve your fitness.⁣ ✅ Most exercises I have included engage multiple muscle groups at a time to make them more challenging. For example, I have included exercises such as a sit-up & reach which targets your core muscles, glutes and shoulders at the same time.⁣ ✅ The program includes explosive movements which require greater muscle activation, leading to strength and power gains.⁣ ✅ Both upper and lower-body strength exercises are often paired together within supersets and trisets to target the full body in a workout. Your body will need more oxygen to perform these exercises, which will challenge your fitness.⁣ ✅ I have also included stabilisation exercises that will challenge your core strength and help you to improve your joint stability.⁣ ⁣ I don’t want this to scare you off my program though! I have also included 4 beginner weeks that you can do if you would like some time to ease into the workouts. There is really something for EVERYONE and it’s up to YOU how challenging you want your routine to be. 🙌⁣ ⁣ Comment below if you have tried a BBG Zero Equipment workout and tell me if you thought it was challenging! 👇⁣ ⁣ kaylaitsines.com/BBGZeroEquipment⁣ ⁣ #BBGatHome #SWEATatHome #BBG #BBGcommunity

Here’s another part of my first postpartum workout ❤️ several of you asked how many times a week you should do these moves. . If you’re very newly postpartum (but also cleared from your doctor), I suggest starting with 3 days a week at the most. First, you’re still recovering and there’s no need to go from 0 to 60. Second, you have a lot on your plate right now. Don’t overwhelm yourself – take it slow and steady and you can always increase seasons once you get a better handle on this new life with your little one (telling myself the same thing… 😬) . ❤️ Lying Inner Thigh Raises: When doing these, be sure you’re laying completely on your side and not leaning back nor forward. Focus on using your inner thigh muscles (adductors) in order to raise your leg each rep, and of course, contract your TVA! Exhale as you lift your leg, inhale as you lower it. ❤️ Knee Drops: These are the beginner version of the next move, so try these out before you attempt the more difficult version with your legs raised. Slowly lower your knee, don’t let it just fall down. Then also slowly raise it back up by using your adductors and transverse abdominus muscles (your deep, inner core). ❤️ Raised Knee Drops: Once you feel comfortable, progress to the raised leg version of the knee drops. Honestly, my first time trying these, they were tough so I regressed to the easier version for the first session (aside from filming this for you girls :)) so don’t hesitate to go at your own pace – no need to cram all these in unless they feel absolutely right for you and your body’s recovery. ❤️ Glute Bridge: While this *will* work your booty, the booty is not the main focus here. It’s your TVA and your pelvic floor. You’ll notice I start touching my lower belly in order to create that mind-muscle connection and ensure I’m engaging my transverse abdominus muscles. . 👉 Do each for 60 seconds and repeat 3x 😊 #fbggirls #fbgmoms #7weekspostpartum

Dear Motivation: where the hell did you go? -As if working out wasn’t a struggle hard enough… now the real struggle is the motivation. Am I right? Training is more complicated than ever, and home workouts maybe doesn’t you give that specific kick in the butt as a gym or group workout does. Gahhh…. you might ask “so when is that motivation coming back to me?” Quite frankly, and I am sorry to break it to you, but if you sit and wait for it, it won’t come to you. There is, in this very moment, only one way. And it’s to seize it. You must find it. It won’t just come as an email. Now, in this pandemic / lockdown / economy depression / your home feels like the last place you want to be / mask wearing episode, we must think very differently. Videos like this might have kicked you out of that couch and straight into the gym about 5 months ago. At least, that has always been my point. But now it might seem even further away to become the best version of yourself. And it’s now the discipline must kick in. And with discipline, the motivation will follow. And when the motivation is back, thanks to your discipline, then you are unstoppable… -So go get it! And do it now. (To help you a bit on the way, I have made some changes to my home workout program on the app Fitplan. Download it for free from my website, link in my bio, and try it out for free the first 7 days)

MOBILITY SEQUENCE (From your Chair) ⁣ ⁣ 1. Dance⁣ ⁣ 2. Neck Rolls with active arms (by gripping at the chair you create stability through your arms and can therefore facilitate a more isolated stretch through the neck). ⁣ ⁣ 3. Figure Four hip stretch (Notice that I don’t just pick up the leg with my arms, I actually try to lift using my hips ability to flex and externally rotate. This is a good test of mobility vs. passive flexibility).⁣ ⁣ 4. Quad, Hip Flexor, QL and oblique stretch (make sure you are on the front of the knee not directly on top of the knee cap. A posterior pelvic tilt also important here so squeeze the glute of the stretching side). ⁣ ⁣ 5. Passive Shoulder and Spine stretch (slightly more advanced thoracic and shoulder stretch) ⁣ ⁣ 6. Single Leg Glute Bridge (If you’ve spent all day sat in a chair it’s best to also make sure you’re working your glutes too – so we throw this little bad boy in. For my hyper mobile peeps with achey backs, sometimes this can sort us right out). Make sure you make eye contact or efficacy is reduced.⁣ ⁣ Drop you’re Q’s below. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #vertuemethod

It’s not necessarily about the dream. It’s about the execution, learning and never giving up. If I could count the amount of times I wanted to give up you wouldn’t believe me. Having a dream / goal is amazing but to be able to make it happen, mess up, mess up some more, then mess up again but keep trying and trying because you fundamentally believe in your vision more than anything possible that’s what’s powerful. My vision is simple, to make fitness as accessible as possible for all women and for all women to look amazing doing it… and one final component to also be part of an incredible uplifting community and never feel alone. This goes beyond launching a new company, this is about how much are you willing to work, invest (energy) and learn from “failures” so you never give up. You’ve got to constantly remind yourself WHY you’re doing what you’re doing… that’s the bottom line. If you keep remembering your why everything else has a solution. You cannot give up, no matter how many times you want to stop, no matter how many times shit hits the fan, no matter how much of a struggle it is… REMEMBER YOUR WHY. So my promise to you is I won’t forget my why, regardless of how many nights I lose sleep or moments I call Hollie saying I give up… I won’t forget my why because this goes beyond just me…. this is for US, our community and always will be 💙

POST THE DAMN PHOTO🌼 – I posted this on my stories last week & I got so many messages on it so I’m sharing it on my main page. These are some photos I took when doing my LSF check ins! – I get asked often about stretch marks. To be honest I don’t have many…they are just faint on my butt & thighs. – 🌼REMINDER: They are not flaws. They are unique. They are beautiful. They are a sign of our body going through life phases. They are signs of LIVING. – I now have 2 distinctive scars on my tummy. They form a ‘+’ = positivity. – 🌼REMINDER: Don’t be ashamed of the scars life has left with you. They are reminded of your victory. – you survived. They are a sign of strength. – I think it’s an important message for all women and particularly to pass along to our younger generation…it’s OKAY to not be perfect. There is no such thing. What you see on social media often is highly polished edited images. So stop comparing to them. – It’s normal to not have absolutely flawless skin, it’s normal to have cellulite, lumps, bumps, stretch marks. They are a map of our body’s strengths and experiences to share with the world. – Be proud of your body. 💫 – You are imperfect, permanently & inevitably flawed. And you are beautiful. 💞 – @laurensimpsonfitness

BOOTY WAKE-UP CALL H E L L O GLUTES! These cheeks have been sleeping 😴 since I gave birth 10 weeks ago but NOW is the time to WAKE THE HELL UP 😈🔥 If you want your 🍑 to be twitching for the rest of the day- follow me 🙋🏼♀️🔥 FAVORITE SPORTS BRA @shefit . 1️⃣ Pigeon Pose Glute Pulses w/ Ball Too many of you upset at me that this move was EXTREMELY difficult 🙆🏼♀️🥵 and boy, it sure is! I thought of a way for you guys to achieve this FIRE glute burn more easily- use the BALL! Slide a yoga ball or any small squishy ball under you to give your extended leg more clearance off the ground. Imagine using only your glute to lift and lower 2️⃣ SAME ⬆️ but Upright Position Giving you guys another option/variation to this move. Try both and see which positioning allows for you to have the greatest gluteal contraction. I like to superset these two positions 3️⃣ Ball Sitting Kickbacks I have posted multiple variations to this exercise (cable machine, sliders) pregnant and after pregnancy because it is THAT good! Your leg will hover over the floor as you move side to back. You can even add in some internal and external rotations of your hip as you swing 4️⃣ Side Hip Raise Abductions Too happy I can do these again now that I am not super duper preggo 🙌🏼. I completely forgot how effective these are at working your medius muscle 5️⃣ Ball Quadruped Hip Extensions Two variations- straight leg and bent knee. Using the ball creates instability and forces you to recruit your deep inner core muscles. For all reps I begin with lifting my pelvic floor and wrapping my core through all reps 6️⃣ Happy Baby 👶🏼 Band Abductions Man, this little guys lights up like a Christmas 🎄 tree anytime we are face to face 😩💕. He woke up from his nap early so he finished my routine with me. Again, lift your pelvic floor and wrap your core through all abductions 7️⃣ Glute Bridge Band Abductions Easy way to stimulate baby and still get your glute session done 🙃 (he loves the chandelier above our heads). Hold at the top of the bridge and abduct your knees Always finishing with Legion Whey+ Protein 💪🏼 even while nursing 🤱. Birthday Cake Flavor 🎂 @legionath LINK IN BIO

IM REALLY PROUD OF MY BODY! It’s been through a lot over the years. Constant battles of gaining and losing weight, starving myself of calories, binge eating and drinking, not to mention 2 pregnancies that both ended up with me gaining about 40lbs of fat. . That’s why I can never be ashamed or embarrassed about my loose skin, my stretch marks, my cellulite… seeking perfection was never my goal! It was only ever about gaining back my confidence and feeling good about myself again. And I succeeded in this, I feel great!!! And so should you 😍 . I can make my body look better by flexing and posing but we all know that’s not how I walk around in the streets, what I look like when I’m lounging around on the sofa or when I bend over to empty the dishwasher. I will always be transparent about my body, because this is me!!! No matter how much hard work and consistency I put in, there’s some things that will not change. I am true to myself and I am real with you! . JUDGE YOURSELF LESS & LOVE YOURSELF MORE Everyday ❤️❤️❤️

Multitasking 👙☀️ + 📱 🤪 How is everyone spending their Sundays? Do you take the time to recharge? Taking breaks are actually pretty hard for me. I am workaholic🤭I always have been (I think it must be coming from my parents, growing up I used to always see mom & dad working non stop) My brain 🧠 is constantly ticking & telling me: “I could’ve done this OR could have caught up on that instead.” 🤯 BUT over the years I have learnt how important is to TAKE A CHILL PILL 💊 sometimes, press PAUSE⏸ and make some time for myself to recharge my batteries🔋 I ALWAYS take a full day OFF from training once a week as well. (this used to be SOOOO freakin’ HARD for me lol, but I realized how much better my results, performance , recovery, mood, my EVERYTHING is when I give my muscles time to recover!) Am I right my Queens?🙋🏻‍♀️ Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that you are allowed to rest. The world will NOT end if you STOP and take a breather. 🧘🏻‍♀️ Even if just for a few minutes here and there, a little goes a long way. Take care of yourself & listen to your body girls! It will pay off in the long run! ❤️ 🔊 My Unleashed Challenge Queens🔊 FINAL WEEK of unleashed challenge is coming up!!! Believe it or not .. I used to be terrified of gyms and lifting weights 🤷♀️⁣ ⁣ I started my fitness journey as a cardio junky and spent most of my days out on the road doing long distance runs 🏃♀️ ⁣ ⁣ However the impact of running become increasing difficult on my body after giving birth to my second child which meant that I was forced to try something new 💡 ⁣ ⁣ I was way too intimidated to join a gym so I decided to purchase my own pair of dumbbells and workout in my garage at home 🏠 ⁣ ⁣ I had no idea what I was doing…⁣ ⁣ In fact my first few workouts literally only consisted of bicep curls because it was the only exercise that I knew! 🤦♀️⁣ ⁣ But I liked the way it felt and all of a sudden I found myself going into the garage more and more to perform my mini bicep workout 🤣⁣ ⁣ Eventually I outgrew the dumbbells and finally worked up the courage to join a gym which was super intimidating for me at the time 😳⁣ ⁣ I was really nervous to be training in a gym .. I was scared of doing things wrong and worried that I would look stupid! 😫⁣ ⁣ But over time I became more confident as I learned more about lifting weights and really started to fall in love with it! 💜⁣ ⁣ Fast forward 8 years later after lifting nearly every day .. this is what I learned: ⁣ ⁣ ✅ Lifting weights is NOT as scary as it looks⁣ ✅ Lifting weights to improve “muscle tone” is the SAME thing as building muscle mass⁣ ✅ Lifting weights WON’T make you bulky or gain weight provided that you don’t eat to excess⁣ ✅ Lifting weights DOESN’T make you masculine and will actually enhance your shape and bring out your best features ⁣ ✅ Lifting weights WILL improve your confidence and make you feel like you can handle anything⁣ ⁣ Just remember that you don’t have to know everything – all you have to do is to START 💯⁣ ⁣ You’ll work the rest out along the way 🙏⁣ ⁣ #gyminspiration #workouttips #bodybuildingwomen
